Came here for lunch and had the tri tip tacos with the house michelada. Both were delicious and the service was great. Very clean inside and well kept.

I found this place on help and honestly I'm a regular now! I love their jackfruit tacos and also the potato tacos. Their rice and bean with their spicy sauce always does it for me.

I enjoy the food here! My favorite is the Brussel sprout tacos. I love their vegan options and their fresh drinks aswell. And the service is great

First off the tacos are straight up delicious and tasty! My boyfriend and i decided to kick off 2025 by getting tacos and we decided on this place and we were not disappointed! We both ordered a combo #2, it comes with 3 tacos and a drink. For my combo I got the tri tip, beef cheek, and carnitas with a cucumber like drink. For his combo he got shrimp, tri tip, and carnitas with a cucumber drink as well. The tacos were well marinated and seasoned. My favorite of all the tacos was the carnitas but all of them were really good. Service is great, the guy who helped us was friendly, professional, and efficient. He was the only one working the counter and he was the one that brought us our food when it came out: As for the location itself, it was clean and organized. You pay first and then they bring your food out to you. They give you the salsa bottles, either hot or salsa verde: both were awesome! Love the artwork, flower wall, and decor. Definitely recommend this place for amazing tacos!

Can they come to OC already ? Asking for a friend and myself !!! Nothing else has this qualify and love poured into it- we drive an hour, and also go during their weird time slots they're only open until 5 pm even on the weekends. They seem to cater to the working class, and the space indoors is more for groups than a bunch of small couples tables are long for probably 3 -4 people per side , so If you cannot find a seat well that's that. However regardless of location, this place is amazing! You will never find a better carne asada, beans, and horchata that's vegan around. Trust me, the salsa also. Oh boy- you're going to want to take some home! Don't forget to try a side of their guac , warning this spot will have you wanting them to move to your city also !!! Can't wait to eat here again it's a treat I look forward to whenever I'm near!

I cannot rave enough about Str8 Up Taco. Every bite is so flavorful, and it shows their true culinary skills. Over the past six years, they've consistently raised the bar for tacos in Orange County/Los Angeles. Their vegetarian/vegan/pescatarian options are exceptional, even for the biggest meat lovers.. The crispy black bean tacos are so good: fried yellow chiles coated with a savory black bean corn mix, cotija cheese, pepita seeds, and a creamy cilantro dressing. Another must-try is their Green Crispy potato tacos: paired with their house made creamy cilantro dressing, cotija cheese, onions/cilantro. The shrimp taco is also a standout, with its irresistible homemade mild red sauce!! (I love their salsas and sauces!) The food is always made fresh to order, so it arrives hot, fresh, and crispy. From battered portobello mushrooms to crispy fish & cauliflower tacos, every bite is a irresistible.. A little patience goes a long way. The owners commitment to cooking up fresh, delicious food makes it worth the wait!!

Delicious tacos! I really like the type of tortilla they use, yellow corn, and their salsas have so much flavor! The Shrimp tacos and potato tacos are my favorite; I am by no means a vegetarian, but that potato taco could convert me. They offer a variety of meats and vegetarian options, which I think is so cool, a little bit something for everyone. They offer bottle beers and housemade sangria. I highly recommend eating here, great food!

The tacos here are definitely noteworthy and worth the drive or stop if you're in the area! It's not always the case that we, as vegetarians, get many options on the menu and so this was a rare instance that we actually contemplated on what to order. We ordered 6 tacos (+ chips and salsa/gauc) for the 2 of us. We liked them all but the ones that stood out the most to us were both types of crispy potato tacos, the chickpea elote taco, and the brussel sprout taco. We also had the jackfruit and smokey hibiscus tacos. The jackfruit had good flavor, but it was a little too greasy for me. We always try to order chips and salsa whenever we try a new taqueria or Mexican restaurant. We feel that if the salsa, chips and hot sauces are good, than the meal is likely going to be good as well. This was definitely the case here. The hot sauces, the salsas, and the guacamole were all so tasty and complemented the tacos perfectly. They had a wide variety of non-alcoholic drinks and beer. The service all around was friendly and quick. There's booth seating which is good for parties of 6 to 8 plus a few small tables. Would recommend and hope to be back soon when we are in the area.

I wanted to update this review because after my wife raved about the chickpea elote tacos I had to try them myself (and of course get my favorite, the crispy shrimp). The elote tacos are absolutely amazing. The flavors are perfect and the crispy toasted chickpeas are so good! You will definitely need a fork for these as you won't want to miss any! As always the service was excellent and this was a lunch pickup but the restaurant itself has a great relaxed atmosphere.
